"Bullying in the justice system seems to me to be a

negative effects can often be 'scaled-up' in ways which --
seldom obvious thanks to cover-ups of the most cunning and
insidious kinds imaginable -- adversely affect millions (and
even billions perhaps?) of totally innocent people: and do so
in really major ways at times, as appears to be happening just
now in connection with the global banking crisis (for
example)."

Bullying in the global justice
systems
By
William Finnerty
::::::::
My long and mostly
very bitter experience, over the past 12 years or so, strongly
suggests that bullying within the justice systems of the
jurisdictions (mostly the Republic of
Ireland, the United Kingdom, and the European
Union) which I have sough help from is
rampant.
Nevertheless, and one of the things which
"keeps me going", is that there is also evidence -- for the
most part very faint unfortunately (from my particular
viewpoint) -- of what I have referred to below as "decent
members": i.e. police men and police women, and lawyers, who
genuinely believe in having justice and fair play throughout
the WHOLE of society.
Bullying in the justice system
seems to me to be a particularly important issue, on account
of the way its negative effects can often be "scaled-up" in
ways which, seldom obvious thanks to cover-ups of the most
cunning and sly kinds imaginable, adversely affect millions
(and even billions perhaps?) of totally innocent people: and
do so in really major ways at times, as now appears to be
happening in connection with the global banking
crisis (for example).
Bullying connected
with "unconstitutional legislation" for
example (and the invalid and indeed illegal "law" thus
produced), the issue at the core of the
difficulties I have inadvertently got myself very seriously
tangled up in, and have so far been unable to disentangle myself
from (thanks to widespread and
rampant impunity
in the justice systems I'm attempting to get justice
through), is a prime example of the "scaling-up"
process referred to in the paragraph just
above.

"I have faith in the
Justice System and some members of An Garda
Siochana" by Different Tue May 11, 2010

I have faith in the POTENTIAL of the
Justice System and some members of An Garda Siochana
(Republic of
Ireland Police).
However, if the justice
system is to ever reach its full potential (or anything
remotely like it), the decent members of that system
(including the lawyers and the police) -- and by "decent" I
mean the ones who genuinely believe in having justice and fair
play throughout the WHOLE of society -- will need to get help
by way of understanding the whole overall bullying
phenomenon, and the extremely serious
psychological injuries that bullying can
cause: which, often UNKNOWN to the victim, frequently include
C-PTSD (Complex-Post Traumatic Stress
Disorder).
The best information I know of on this
hugely important subject was compiled by the late Dr Tim
Field; and, fortunately, much of it is still freely
available on the Internet.
The excerpt provided below
is a small sample of his work, and it comes from a much larger
piece at the following address: http://www.bullyonline.org/stress/ptsd.htm
"It's
widely accepted that PTSD can result from a single, major,
life-threatening event, as defined in DSM-IV. Now there is
growing awareness that PTSD can also result from an accumulation of
many small, individually non-life-threatening
incidents. To differentiate the cause, the term
'Complex PTSD' (C-PTSD) is used. The reason that
Complex PTSD is not in DSM-IV is that the definition of PTSD
in DSM-IV was derived using only people who had suffered a
single major life-threatening incident such as Vietnam
veterans and survivors of
disasters."
