Pipeline" operation is all part of the
mysterious
"great giveaway" of the
Republic of Ireland's oil and gas resources, which

Why are the
people of the
Republic of
Ireland being
completely excluded
from all decisions relating to this crucially important social
matter: which very obviously has major implications for
present and future generations?
According to
Article
6.1 of Bunreacht na hEireann (The Basic Law of the Republic of
Ireland), the people have the right
"to decide all
questions of national policy, according to the requirements of
the common good".
Despite this
very clear
and core legal fact, the people are not even being
consulted, let alone being provided with their legal right
"in final appeal" to "decide all questions of
national policy".
The
full text of
Article 6.1 of our written
Constitution
(Bunreacht na hEireann) reads as
follows:
"All powers of government,
legislative, executive and judicial, derive, under God, from
the people, whose right it is to designate the rulers of the
State and, in final appeal, to decide all questions of
national policy, according to the requirements of the common
